Essentials of Skeletal Radiology, Volume 1
Especially designed for chiropratic practitioners 'skeletal dysplasia' and students, though it will be used by others in medicine, this text presents analysis for all aspects of skeletal radiology, accompanied by a wealth of radiographic images. The 18 chapters describe topics that include normal skeletal anatomy 'skeletal dysplasia' and radiographic positioning, measurements in skeletal radiology, scoliosis, skeletal dysplasias, arthritic disorders, infection, 'skeletal dysplasia' and hematologic 'skeletal dysplasia' and vascular disorders. New to this edition is a chapter called masqueraders of musculoskeletal disease, on the images of conditions 'skeletal dysplasia' and parts of the body that can mimic musculoskeletal complaints. The 11 contributing authors are radiologists; four are associated with the Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. Yochum directs the Rocky Mountain Chiropractic Radiological Center in Denver; Rowe teaches diagnostic radiology at the U. of Newcastle in Australia.
